Your data, transparently
Why we ask for access to your YouTube data
Some features work entirely from public YouTube information. For private analytics — watch time and audience retention — the channel owner can optionally connect their Google account. When you do, we request read-only access to your YouTube account and YouTube Analytics data. Here is exactly what that means:
- What we access:read-only YouTube Analytics (watch time, retention, views over time) and read-only channel details used to confirm you own the channel you're connecting.
- Why:solely to display your own channel's analytics back to you (and to Mayo Media administrators who manage your channel) inside this dashboard.
- What we never do: we never post, upload, edit, or delete anything on your channel, and we never sell or share your data with third parties or use it for advertising.
- Your control:you can revoke access at any time from your Google Account's security settings, and you can request deletion of your account and stored data by contacting us.
Mayo Media Management's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
